Congratulations Leo! Olympic Silver 1500m!
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Manzano Mile & Free Kids 400m

The Manzano Mile, hosted by Olympic Silver Medalist Leo Manzano, is an all-comers track meet consisting of individual mile and mile relay events. Individual mile events range from Age Groups 10 years to Grand Masters (50+), and there are special relay categories for Open, Club/Team, and Corporate.

Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Leo has poured his passion into reaching out to the community, specifically to local youth, through health and fitness programs. In 2010, he created The Manzano Mile, a for-profit event that provides Leo an opportunity to personally interact with the community and promote the sport of running. Each year, Leo donates a portion of the proceeds from the event to the Austin Community Foundation in support of non-profit youth and other charitable programs.

For Kids is the 1379 Kids Quarter "Future Milers of America" a free 400 meter event for kids 9 and under. The event closes with the Open Male and Female mile race. Event participants will receive an event T-Shirt, food, and drink with registration. Live bands will play on the infield during the event.
